Aon Hewitt is the market leader in HR Business Process Outsourcing (HR BPO). The Change Solutions Group (CSG) is a team of change management, communications, customer experience, and training consultants which supports the implementation and ongoing support of our BPO clients.

We offer our clients a powerful combination of HR BPO-specific change management solutions and experience along with strong working HR functional knowledge.

We are seeking a candidate to drive the end user training workstream as part of an integrated change management solution on complex HR BPO projects. The Learning Lead is accountable for learning design and development activities and contributing to the successful adoption of new tools by end users.

The Learning Lead partners with internal CSG team members and the project's PMO to understand the contractual deliverables and timelines associated with each engagement. The Lead will work with a client partner to understand client business and local/regional needs from all stakeholders and the end user learning needs necessary to support the implementation.

Consulting on learning strategies and project management skills are essential for this role.

·         Accountable for client organization readiness to efficiently engage with the Aon Hewitt outsourced service delivery model, in partnership with other CSG team members.

·         Consult with Aon Hewitt clients to determine optimal learning and development strategies for HR, managers and employees.

·         Perform and/or lead the needs analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, maintenance, project management and vendor management of blended engagement and learning programs.

·         Perform and/or support change management activities such as risk/readiness assessments, change impact analysis, usability sessions, surveys, stakeholder analysis, etc.

·         Operate in a formal project management environment using defined deliverables, strategies, plans, timelines, review/approval cycles, escalations, and budgets.

·         Develop and maintain a consultative relationship with clients by serving as the key interface between the client, Aon Hewitt subject matter experts, other CSG team members, and third party partners as it related to end user learning solution.

·         Consult with the client on how to assess and monitor the effectiveness of the learning solutions and identify and communicate suggested improvements as necessary.

·         Consult with the client team on deployment strategies and how to oversee a smooth execution of training delivery.

·         Maintain a "hands-on" approach to the curriculum by developing a working knowledge of the subject matter.

·         Ensure a smooth onboarding of contracted resources and be accountable for managing the third party vendors to tight deadlines and agreed quality metrics.

·         Oversee resource management of contractors to ensure quality, on-time deliverables.

·         Collaborate with in-house domain experts and client subject matter experts to obtain information and validate course content through the review process to sign-off.

·         Ensure all learning deliverables meets and supports contractual quality metrics. Troubleshoot and overcome challenges with technology, design/scope changes and resources.

·         Contribute to HR BPO sales pursuits, including up-selling on existing clients, representing the CSG.



Qualifications:

A Learning Lead will typically have:

  • Significant exposure to training relating to HR systems self-service tools across all HR domains, e.g., workforce administration (manager and employee self-service), compensation, talent management, time entry, etc.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in an external consulting environment consulting on blended learning solutions (including, but not limited to, web-based courses).
  • Solid knowledge of learning program design processes and procedures: the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs and strategies.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate with different levels of management. 
  • Experience coaching and mentoring others.
  • Resilience and adaptability in a fast paced, ambiguous work environment. 
  • Knowledge of and experience in the project management discipline.
  • E-learning development exposure, e.g., web-based training, simulation development. o Strong skills in MS Office applications, primarily: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of screen capture / simulation tools and standard e-learning/communication development tools such as Captivate, Articulate, Lectora.
  • Experience working with offshore teams.
  • Proficient in establishing training metrics and measurements (benchmarking, ROI). Also desirable: o Knowledge of the change management discipline.
  • Solid knowledge of HR functions/processes such as compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, talent management, employee information, etc.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in technology-based learning tools and resources including Learning Management Systems, Virtual Classroom Tools, Online Authoring Tools, Assessment/Survey Tools, Embedded Help Tools, and Online Courseware.
  • Highly motivated to develop strong knowledge/subject matter expertise in HR-related business areas.
  • Interest and experience in continuous improvement and innovation within the learning space.
  • Exposure to HR-related technologies such as Workday, Taleo, PeopleSoft, SAP, etc.
  • Experience with enterprise-wide systems and process rollout.
  • As a client-facing role, the successful candidate should be prepared to travel on average 20% of time, more during peak periods and/or depending on each client's needs.
