Summary:

The 1 year contract opportunity within our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) as a Recruitment Consultant will be engage in strategic and tactical sourcing by relentlessly pursuing every available outlet (job boards, alumni networks, events) to find potential candidates to fill current and future needs. The Sourcer proactively and reactively seeks potential candidates, accurately captures contact information, and sells Aon Hewitt opportunities to encourage prospects to apply. This person reports to the RPO Sourcing Manager for the respective region, business unit, and/or location.

Responsibility Areas:

  • Accountable for overall sourcing pipeline results for assigned requisitions.
  • Represent the Sourcing team to recruiters and hiring managers.
  • Establish new sources, develop long-term relationships with channel partners, research potential new vendor relationships, and manage existing vendor relationships.
  • Monitor productivity of various sourcing channels leveraging Operations Reporting resources when appropriate.
  • Manage employee referrals with assistance from hub sourcers.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and labor laws.
  • Adhere to the RPO Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).


Plan for and Identify Open Positions

  • May attend intake session with assigned Recruiter and Hiring Manager to understand the position demand requirements and manager expectations to ensure high quality candidates are sourced in a timely manner OR discuss intake session findings with Recruiter.
  • Determine sourcing strategy and collaborate with Recruiter assigned to requisition to verify use of internet, referral, campus, and agency channels.
  • Interface with Hub Sourcing colleagues to communicate strategy and coordinate efforts.


Source and Attract Candidates

  • Execute sourcing via existing and emerging channels using traditional and advanced communication tools (e.g. social media, text campaigns, telephone networking, user groups, and other in-person networking activities) to identify and obtain information about potential candidates.
  • Comply with standard operating procedures to update candidate step/status and ensure accurate candidate data is captured and maintained in ATS or CRM.
  • Qualify external candidates to determine if candidate should be considered by Recruiter for position.
  • Monitor and report quality and quantity of resumes on consistent basis.
  • Establish and maintain a network of top talent for key roles.
  • Troubleshoot and problem-solve concerns and issues for the Sourcing team.
  • Conduct training of other Sourcing colleagues on new sourcing tools/products.
  • Assist or lead projects, as necessary, to enhance the RPO program


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR) Certification preferred
  • Post Graduate Degree in technical field, business or HR management preferred

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both English and regional languages required to interact with candidates via email and phone.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in recruitment activities or equivalent related education.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Solid sales skills and comfortable cold-calling.
  • External vendor management interface skills.
  • Knowledge of recruiting practices, candidate process management, and skills assessment techniques.
  • Aptitude for or knowledge of applicant tracking systems preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Proficient in electronic and traditional prospecting and networking skills, especially via online social networks.
  • Able to adapt to changing business priorities and prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Highly developed problem-solving skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and natural curiosity about use of the internet and technology in general
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Cross cultural competence a plus.
  • Experience in performing active candidate development (i.e. direct sourcing calls) for niche requirements.
  • Strong action/results orientation, highly self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
  • Prior experience in management of channel partners.
  • Supervisory and management skills preferred.
  • Excellent prospecting and networking skills, especially via online social networks.
  • Blogging and tweeting experience preferred

Work Conditions:

  • Occasional early morning/evening and weekend work to meet deadlines and interact with counterparts in different time zones.
  • Frequent computer use at workstation for extended periods of time.
  • Participation in training sessions, presentations, and meetings, in person or virtually as needed.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary for the purpose of hiring events, team reviews, off-sites, and training programs.
