Administrative Assistant Advanced (job code 000003)

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to a team of associates within a workgroup, practice area or client team. Support ranges from clerical and logistical matters to document production and the effective use of office applications. The assistant is integral to the efficient workflow within the office environment.



Qualifications:
SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Answer phones
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings
  • Prepare correspondence, including editing for content, grammar, punctuation, and phrasing
  • Prepare and produce documents, graphics presentations, and related materials
  • Travel arrangements
  • Maintain consultants calendar
  • Prepare trip/expense reports
  • Work as an effective team member
  • Maintain a flexible approach and attitude toward others
  • Record time accurately and timely
  • Supports team members/pitches in to help others
  • Anticipates needs/self-directed
  • Shares work with others and delegates if appropriate
  • Mentor other assistants
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Typing accurate at 55 WPM
  • Excellent writing skills - grammar, punctuation, spelling, proofing, editing
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
