McLagan is the leader in financial services pay and performance benchmarking and consulting. The Equity Performance (Revenue GPS) team has an opportunity for a role based in New York, NY with consideration for Stamford, CT. 

The Equities Performance team is responsible for analyzing McLagan’s proprietary quarterly industry performance data, identifying insights for clients regarding overall industry trends, client specific strengths and weaknesses and growth opportunities.  This position will also be responsible for creating presentations for equity sales and trading senior managers at the industry’s leading firms. Working with other senior leaders in the Equities Performance business, the successful candidate will contribute to strategy and planning consulting projects for these clients to help them improve the performance of their equities businesses.

The Revenue GPS Analyst is also responsible for the following:

  • Review survey submissions for accuracy and quality
  • Prepare special reports and analyses
  • Conduct research on financial services industry business and compensation trends

Skills and Experience:

 The successful candidate should be well organized, accurate, motivated, and familiar with using large data sets. They must have strong analytical skills and a strong interest in the financial services industry.  A bachelor’s degree is required (business, economics, finance or math preferred). Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills are necessary. SQL, XLCubed and VBA expertise is helpful but not essential.

 Candidate should have 1 - 4 years of experience in financial services industry and/or first-hand experience manipulating large data sets. Backgrounds in equities finance or trade support or other institutional equities sales and trading products a plus.
