McLagan has an opening for a full-time Senior Compensation Analyst in our Bloomington, MN office.
-Coordinate key compensation survey processes for national banking compensation survey, including data collection, data review, systems setup, client communication, and delivery of reports
-Independently work with clients over the phone and, in some instances, on client visits as part of the survey production process
-Participate in moderately complex client engagements including data analysis, report creation, and client meetings
-Research and analyze executive and director compensation data from public financial institutions for use in client projects
-Identify executive and board compensation trends for use in client engagements, articles and presentations
-One to three years of experience in the analysis, design, and/or administration of compensation programs
-Analytical skills, including a high degree of accuracy in calculations and data manipulation, and the ability to understand data presented in a variety of formats
-Initiative and the technical ability to complete complex research and solve problems independently
-Advanced MS Excel skills, including proficiency with financial and lookup formulas and ability to use linked tables. Aptitude with macros preferred
-Ability to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple projects simultaneously
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Bachelor's or Master’s degree in any field with proven academic excellence
-Willingness to reside in the Greater Twin Cities area
*The title of the position will either be an Analyst or Sr. Analyst predicated on the experience level.
