We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Receptionist/Floater in our New York City office.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Operates local switchboard and greets visitors with a professional and friendly demeanor; May take written messages upon client request; Models professional client service behaviors; Operates switchboard without supervision; Maintains staff and visitor attendance logs and maintains internal telephone directories; Trains backups to use switchboard and assists in coordinating relief support through supervisor; Relies on supervisory direction to plan and accomplish assigned administrative tasks as directed; Receives, signs for, and notifies recipient of delivery service packages (e.g. FedEx, UPS, etc.); Notifies security in the event of suspicious or potentially threatening visitors or deliveries
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years experience answering phones and handling general office/clerical duties. MS Word, Excel and Lotus Notes experience preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required.
