Financial Lines Broker

Job Description


Forming part of the Aon Singapore’s retail specialty team, Financial Services & Professions Group (‘FSPG’), you will assist to deliver best-in-class advisory and servicing of FSPG’s clients and to support the functional pillars of the organisation, including but not limited to:

  • Delivery of FSPG solutions, including broking, advisory and servicing of major clienteles jointly or severally with the FSPG team, with a consistently high and reliable service standard
  • Negotiate with underwriters and clients to deliver growth, profitability and team goals
  • Lead the entire process of placing FSPG insurance solutions for or on behalf of clients
  • Grow and develop the FSPG business in Singapore
  • Data management - reporting, forecasting and timely management of data
  • Supporting the functional pillars: Sales & Marketing, Account Management, or Operational Management
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the regional team and other stakeholders to identify and implement strategies 


As a member of the team:

  • Ensure and monitor compliance & controls for self and team with respect to all MAS & Aon mandated processes & standards including but not limited to Non-Negotiables, Aon Client Promise and Aon Broking Guide
  • Review and support the performance standards and development within the team to enhance best-in-class broking as well as to reduce E&O risks in the course of service delivery
  • Develop and implement efficient operational processes
  • Leading ad-hoc FSPG projects
  • Build successful long-term business relationships at all levels with clients, insurers and key stakeholders



  • Possess a good level of understanding of the insurance industry in Singapore
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, and ability to effectively and confidently present to clients and other audiences
  • Positive and resilient personality, adaptable to change
  • Possess strong people skills with the ability to work with others under pressure and to resolve conflict in a constructive manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Attention to detail and results orientated
