Aon is looking for a Broker I


As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions for Aon’s Construction Services Group.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Establish client facing skills including effective presentations & communications
  • Establish ability to broke moderately complex accounts - Perform strategic assessment, design solutions and negotiates risk transfer products
  • Support senior staff on complex technical global accounts
  • Develop & maintain understanding of analytical/actuarial techniques to design and compare risk transfer/financing plans
  • Effectively plan and manage renewal cycle
  • Obtain effective working knowledge of carrier underwriting practices & processes
  • Gain & display coverage competency, knowledge of markets and relationships
  • Participate and promote pre and post placement servicing (premium financing, claims, etc.)
  • Actively seek out new and challenging projects
  • Mentor Associate Brokers
  • Establish self as a team player & expand internal network
  • Maintain & grow current book of business
  • Ensure operational excellence including adherence to service management requirements (e.g. AVX, Time Tracking, Benchmarking, GRIP etc.


  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Excellent negotiation skill
  • Strong knowledge of the insurance business and the assigned clients’ needs as well as all major lines of business.
  • Proficiency in PC office products such as Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook is require
  • Evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools and create innovative solutions

Preferred Education


Brokers license is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.

CPCU, CIC or ARM completed or in process is preferred
