Aon is looking for a Property & Cyber Risk Consultant in our Aon Global Risk Consulting Group

 

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Claim Preparation, Advocacy & Valuation team. The qualified candidate will be based out of our Krakow office. The Claims Preparation, Advocacy & Valuation team is responsible for evaluation of property damage, cyber, and business interruption claims as an advisory service to our clients.

 

 

Responsibilities:

As respects the preparation of property damage, cyber, and business interruption claims

  • Analyze, audit, and review accounting books and records, financial statements, or other financial reports – P&L’s, budgets, inventory, revenues, value of production, invoices, bank records, expenses – forensic accounting
  • Data entry and statistical analysis
  • Prepare comprehensive claim calculation with verified support
  • Strategic thinking of project objectives for report preparation in standardized formats
  • Process information – compile, categorize, calculate, audit, verify information and data.Double check for accuracy
  • Communicate to team members on workload, status of projects
  • Time and expense tracking – On a regular basis, track time and expense for client billing and internal usage.Each hour is tracked for T&E purposes.

 

 

Tools and technology:

  • Laptop computer
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other Microsoft office applications
  • Learn and utilize macros within Aon formatted Excel report workbooks and other templates
  • Internet for research, market analysis

 

 

Required skills and qualifications

  • 0-4 Years of relevant experience
  • Mathematics and Accounting Principles – Using mathematics and basic accounting principles to solve problems
  • Active listening and ability to take direction
  • Ability to be proactive and to prioritize tasks
  • Language – Requires excellent English language skills, other languages are a plus
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred
  • Qualified accounting professional or part qualified working towards qualification; preferred but not required

 

  • Interpersonal & teamwork– Working cooperatively with others – peers, supervisors, clients, adjusters, auditors and building relationships to mutually achieve the goals
  • Technical Insurance Knowledge – ability to learn basic principles of insurance, the roles of the players and how property and cyber insurance coverage applies

  • Mathematical Reasoning – the ability to choose the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem
  • Oral Expression – the ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand
  • Written Expression – the ability to communicate information and ideasin writing so others will understand
