Aon is Looking for a Health and Benefits Analyst – Business Process Support

 

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Health and Benefits Consulting business group within Aon in our Denver, Colorado office.

 

Your Impact as a Health and Benefits Analyst - Business Process Support

 

Job Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities of this position to include providing Business Process Support to internal client teams. Specific tasks could include:

 

  • Summary Plan Description and other policy document review
  • Open enrollment and other employee communication support
  • Annual 5500 filing oversight (in partnership with a third-party firm)
  • Benchmarking report preparation and analysis
  • Internal and external compliance disclosures
  • Internal policy renewals and internal compliance support
  • New client onboarding and policy set up

 

Additional responsibilities include (but not limited to): 

 

  • Takes ownership of work and is accountable for its completion and accuracy; can problem solve, think crucially, and make effective decisions without oversight
  • Asks questions of team members to improve understanding of clients' needs
  • Works on multiple tasks at once, with varying deadlines, and across a team of colleagues, managing their responses for timeliness and accuracy
  • Builds relationships with internal Aon colleagues at all levels
  • Possess a basic understanding of the health and group benefits industry

 

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

 

Required Experience:

 

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Some health and benefits experience, ideally with an emphasis on internal business processes and routine client deliverables (either in brokerage/consulting firm or comparable carrier experience).
  • Client Service Orientation - Ideal candidate would have worked at a health insurance company or brokerage firm in an internally facing role

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • License or Certificate Requirements: none
