Aon is looking for a Training Specialist for our Pension Administration Solutions team. The team works closely with clients and internal teams to identify and help implement solutions that meet client needs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced training colleague who wants to build and lead a comprehensive and dynamic training program, with emphasis on Canadian pension concepts, pension administration, common IT tools, and Aon proprietary tools.
Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada. This position is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or participate in the sponsorship of any candidate for an employment visa or work permit.
This is a hybrid position, attached to the Montreal or Toronto office, with occasional visits to our other Canadian offices, as well as to customer sites.

What the day will look like
The Training Specialist collaborates with internal teams, and occasionally with customers, to, among other things:
- Provide internal teams and clients with training expertise on Canadian pension concepts, pension administration, common IT tools and Aon proprietary tools.
- Identify training needs of various teams, evaluate existing training and identify gaps
- Translate training needs into a dynamic and comprehensive training program
- Develop and update training materials, in collaboration with content experts
- Coordinate and supervise training delivery
- Prepare annual and ad-hoc training programs and pedagogical plans
- Lead structured learning experiences and monitor their results in terms of quality
- Help integrate new recruits
- Facilitate training sessions according to context
- Evaluate training effectiveness to ensure integration of skills and processes, and make targeted, proactive adjustments
- Stay on top of new trends and tools - in the field of pension plans and recognized standard methodologies in training

Skills and experience that will lead to success
The Training Consultant demonstrates leadership, is highly organized, is able to work independently, and has an ability to adapt to audience and priorities.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in a relevant and analytical field
- Work experience in pension administration
- Training experience an asset
- Expertise in available technological solutions and curiosity to discover new solutions
- Ability to analyze and solve problems in a collaborative environment involving multiple partners
- Bilingualism French/English is required due to frequent interactions with customers, colleagues or collaborators located in all provinces.
