The global business process management (BPM) team is responsible for identifying, analyzing, designing, and optimizing processes across Aon. BPM is part of Shared Operations and partners with stakeholders across solutions and geographies. Focussed on efficiency and effectiveness, the BPM team’s goal is to transform process delivering improved client and colleague experience whilst lowering cost.

Overview:

The Process Improvement Specialist will be responsible for mapping business processes in our BPM tool ensuring that best practices are followed in line with BPMN standards. They will work with business stakeholders conduct interviews and build understanding of processes which the business will verify. This will create opportunities to identify the areas of improvement and collaboration through adoption of new strategies, technologies, or procedures.

Role responsibilities

  • Process analysis: Mapping out existing business processes, identifying key steps, data flows, and stakeholders to understand how operations currently function.
  • Process interviewing: Discussing business process and asking the right questions to build high quality process maps and analyses of time/cost.
  • Identifying improvement opportunities: Analyzing data to pinpoint areas where processes can be streamlined, costs reduced, or customer experience enhanced.
  • Requirement gathering: Collaborating with stakeholders to gather necessary information and understand their needs for process improvements.
  • Developing solutions: Designing new or optimized processes, including potential technology solutions, to address identified issues.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that process maps meet the quality standards and expectations that are set up as a part of our governance.

Skills/Experience

  • English language - C1 at least
  • + 2 years' experience in a multi-national organization.
  • Process modelling skills - Ability to visually represent business processes
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to analyse data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop creative solutions.
  • Technical proficiency - Understanding of relevant BPM software and tools.
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred. Experience in a BPMN tool preferred
  • Knowledge of financial or professional services preferred
  • Good interpersonal skills
