Senior Global Benefits Analyst

Job Description

Senior Global Benefits Analyst supports other Global Benefit teams in different locations in the delivery of coordinated, global broking services to Aon clients. As a senior member of the team you are expected to support high-standard service delivery by being subject matter authority and a go-to-person!

Working model: hybrid

What the day will look like

You will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients ensuring the tasks allocated to you are completed timely and of the highest standard. You will be handling your own workload according to volumes and urgency of tasks.

During workweek, you will actively attend/or lead regular meetings with the Global Benefits Consultants to discuss your responsibilities and provide updates on progress made with tasks such as:

  • management of renewals of employee benefits’ policies
  • monitoring of client and plan data held on Aon’s internal system (TBS/GI)
  • preparation of initial drafts of Pre-Renewal Strategy and for the annual Stewardship reports for clients
  • updating the internal trackers with data captured from the system and e-mails

Daily, you will be working closely with teams across the globe, using Outlook and Teams/ Webex, to gather and analyse required information.

To ensure that you and the team deliver the high quality of service you will also:

  • design, implement and develop support materials for solutions to be implemented, such as procedures and training manuals
  • participate in/or lead projects aimed at process improvement, suggesting tools to measure improvements
  • support and train junior colleagues in daily tasks, also acting as an escalation point for process related issues driven by daily operations
  • identify areas of non-value-added activities and potential efficiency gains
  • deliver complex tasks, coordinate internal projects and ensure their successful outcome
  • participate in/or lead transition projects

  • Technical Skills & Analytical Skills: proficiency in MS Office, advanced Excel skills, identifying improvements, risk responsiveness, high attention to details, strong problem-solving skills
  • Communication Skills: excellent communication skills with client focus, leading meetings and conference calls, ability to negotiate
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, ability to meet tight deadlines under time pressure, managing own and team’s workload
  • Project Management Abilities: handling work streams in a project, working effectively in a project team, leading internal transition projects
  • Experience in employee benefits is desirable.
