This role offers a unique chance to dive into the world of platform development. Supporting the senior Platform Manager you will gain hands-on experience that will set you up for future success.
Your role is essential in ensuring that Aon's platform remains robust, user-friendly, and capable of adapting to the evolving needs of the insurance industry.
What the day will look like
- Support platform users in the event of transactional processing issues, review issues and identify appropriate triage pathway.
- Develop and drive change management processes for any system enhancement including communication, training material development and communicating updates,
- Engage with users and product owners to document user needs, pain points and product requirements to enable the identification and analysis of system enhancements.
- Take part in enhancement discovery sessions and support the build out of business requirements as required.
- Develop and undertake User Acceptance Testing.
- Develop documented processes for all platform related activity.
- Support the documentation of standard team operating procedures and processes.
Skills and experience that will lead to success.
- General Insurance Expertise: You should have at least 3 years of experience in General Insurance processes and platforms, which will be crucial for understanding the intricacies of our strategic placement platform.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong skills in managing relationships with various stakeholders, including brokers and insurers, are essential. You'll need to effectively communicate and advocate for platform enhancements.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills are necessary to identify and address transactional processing issues and user pain points.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work in a team environment, both leading and participating, is vital for driving platform change through influence.
- Technical Skills: Previous platform support experience ranging from gathering business requirements to testing and post release support.
