Aon is currently recruiting a Claims Services Manager to join our team in Hong Kong.

What the day will look like

  • Hands-on management of claims in all classes of commercial lines insurance, includes but not limited to EC, PDBI, PAR, Motor, PPL, Marine Cargo, CAR
  • Handle related enquiries from client, insurer or relevant parties and review claims dispute
  • Prepare claims reports for business units
  • Work closely with internal business units and clients at operational level requiring liaising and coordinating with insurers and third party services providers such as loss adjusters, rehabilitation managers and lawyers
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members in claims management

 

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • University graduate or equivalent experience, with minimum 5 years working experience in claims management is highly preferred
  • IIQE qualified or holder of ACII or ANZIIF (Associate) will be added advantage
  • Knowledge on all classes of general insurance is preferred
  • Claims handling experience in insurer or insurance broking firm
  • Team work is essential whilst being proactive and working independently
  • Must be able to understand and interpret policy wordings precisely and apply the same to real claim cases
  • Results oriented, self-motivated, and accountable on assigned task
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably Cantonese)
  • Good computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
