Role Overview

Responsible for supporting Aon Japan Global Solutions (JGS) Leader in the business development and increase revenue generation for both Commercial Risk Solutions (CRS) and Human Capital Solutions (HCS) lines from Japanese corporates in the Philippines.  General duties include but not restricted to the daily optimization of the sales functions, production, monitoring of metrics & management reports, and the accurate & timely reporting of the new business commercial operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new Japanese business opportunities in the Philippines.
  • Work collaboratively with Aon stakeholders to successfully prospect for and acquire new clients, resulting in revenue growth.
  • Lead the new business generation and long-term business relationships with Japanese corporates.
  • Closely works with key executives/decision-makers of Japanese companies, together with Aon Philippines JGS leader, to meet deliverables on time.
  • Build effective external and internal networks including Aon JGS network across business areas.
  • Handle the implementation of programs for new business generation and retention strategies.
  • Strive to achieve quota and business goals.
  • Promote the Aon brand through initiated marketing events and social platforms
  • Accurate and timely input of leads and pipelines in required internal platform.
  • Other business development related work which will be assigned as needed.

Skills for Success

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in B2B Sales in non-life insurance industry
  • Preferably with experience in dealing with Japanese decision makers
  • Business level of English, fluent level of Japanese will be a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
  • Adaptable – demonstrate an aptitude for critical and flexible thinking and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where change is inevitable
  • Customer-centric, Client – focus, & Proactive
  • Strong attention to details/accuracy and radiate integrity
  • Results driven and accountable for results
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Adept in MS Office applications
